Invasive weed management is an important component to all land management activities in Montana. CWS staff has the experience and resources to assist our clients with weed control and management. We believe in developing a total weed management plan, that priortizes weed control needs, considers all management options, applies the most effective treatments, and includes revegetation where needed, to keep weeds from reestablishing. We can identify and map all invasive species on a client's property, and design a plan to effectively address their impacts that may include both biological controls and herbicides as appropriate. Our staff includes two certified pesticide applicators and we have the appropriate weed control equipment for on-the ground treatment. For aerial application, CWS can contract, coordinate and oversee these broad-scale treatments. CWS is also skilled at developing revegetation plans that utilize species that are best adapted to each sites conditions, and that will contribute to other land management objectives.
