Scott Yeats

Wildlife Biologist, GIS Analyst

Scott is a life long resident of Montana and is CWS’s mapping, Geographic Information System (GIS) and habitat modeling expert.  Scott is experienced in compiling and producing detailed maps for areas of all sizes, from individual properties to entire regions of the country.   He is skilled in preparing baseline data for conservation easements and undertaking field surveys for a variety of species.  He has conducted various types of inventory work for wildlife, timber, forest types and, fuel condition assessments. Scott is knowledgeable of ARCGIS and Manifold GIS programs as well as various data management systems.  He is adept at producing maps of properties that display any desired types of information or images.  In his free time Scott can usually be found outdoors as he is an avid hunter, fisherman, and hiker.
